Linking Visuals to Dialog Lines

I am creating a scene in which users are given step-by-step guidance on how to handle having a difficult conversation.

I would like to link the verbal articulation of each step with corresponding visuals to keep users engaged and immersed in the scene (extensive audio without any visuals gets boring fast and I want to avoid boredom breaking immersion).

How do I cue the visuals to appear at the beginning of each line of corresponding audio?

There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. The easiest ways to do so are by using either 1) Event After Time scripts, or 2) On Speak Events (located in the Advanced Options menu of your meeting scene). The following instruction details how to use both options and, most importantly, how to choose the solution that is right for you.

Which should I choose: Event After Time or On Speak Event?

Use the On Speak Event, you can have it trigger a Event After Time event if you need to offset it. I will add a timing to this in the next udpate Brennan Hatton   11 months ago Report
